I termini usati

Per
chi di pelletteria non ne sa niente è chiaro che serve un glossario che spiega
i vari termini usati e come ogni mestiere ogni oggetto, ogni lavorazione ecc ha
la sua parola specifica. Questo glossario è costruito sulla base di termini
usati prevalentemente in Toscana, Firenze nello specifico, come luogo di mia
provenienza e come concentrazione massima della produzione in Italia.

Ovviamente
i termini sono numerosissimi, cercherò di capire come meglio illustrarveli.

Se
qualcuno ha qualche suggerimento lo ringrazio fin da ora.

The terms used

 Ho scelto le 2 borse più famose per iniziare.

Come potete vedere ho segnato i vari riferimenti, quelli che ho ritenuto più opportuno.



Certo sono le più famose ma anche le più complicate, quelle che se non sono perfette si vede subito.



Le difficoltà di queste borse, ovviamente secondo il mio giudizio, sono le rifiniture "LA COSTOLA".

La costola è una lavorazione che viene fatta con la pelle e infustiture tagliate a taglio vivo. "INFUSTITURE" è il materiale che viene usato internamente per dare sostegno o rigidità.

Altri termini usati in queste foto..."PATTINA"

chiamata anche patta/pattella/ribaltina, è la parte che serve per chiudere la borsa , cioè con un risvolto che copre un'apertura o  per chiudere una tasca. 

Il "FILETTO"  o bordino è una striscia di pelle molto fine con dentro un'anima in plastica che viene montata sulla borsa per sostenere il fianco e il quadrante, può anche essere definita una guarnizione Il filetto viene preparato con un'apposita macchina che non solo masticia, (incolla con mastice) la pelle, ma inserisce il cordino, che può essere di varie grandezze, piega il tutto e fa dei taglietti dal lato interno per facilitare il montaggio nelle curve.

La "LAMPO INTERNA" ovviamente si capisce chiaramente cos'è, ma quello che voglio dirvi onde evitare figurucce...la lampo viene sempre montata da sinistra verso destra, cioè il cursore quando la lampo è chiusa deve sempre rimanere a SX. Non so perché, ma è sempre stato così, ed è una delle prime cose che mi hanno insegnato quando all'inizio degli anni '80 ho iniziato questo mestiere. 

E' come la tracolla piccola sempre sulla SX, ma questo ve lo racconto un'altra volta.

"LACCIO CHIUSURA" striscia, in questo caso di pelle, ma può essere anche di nastro o di tessuto, serve per chiudere la borsa facendo da supporto all'accessorio tipico di queste borse.

Bene, adesso mi rimetto a lavorare sul serio. Ho scelto la Birkin anche perché ne ho fatta una ieri, tutta in jeans, un prototipo che ha bisogno di modifiche.

Ora tocca a voi dirmi se vi è piaciuta la mia prima lezione.

Diventerò più brava, prometto, il problema è che mi sto inventando nel realizzare questa iniziativa, non è facile, ho tante cose da dire....ma devo anche dare una giusta collocazione ad ogni cosa e poi perdonatemi per la mia scrittura che forse spesso è sgrammaticata, io a 15 anni ero a fare le borse invece di essere a un liceo e prima o poi si paga.
